The supporter badge — the gold star shown beside your name on your profile and in search results.
Priority placement — Active Members appear in the top tier of location-based result ordering.
“Active since” — your membership date, part of your standing on the platform.

During the beta

Beta members receive Active Member status free for the duration of the beta. Nothing is charged and no payment information is collected. When paid membership opens, beta members will be told in advance — nothing changes without notice.

Active Member is a standing: it lasts while a membership is active. The coming founding badge is history: it marks having been here at the start, and it never expires.
