Servanthood — Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Servanthood, Corp., a Florida corporation, operates Servanthood, a US-only platform for musicians and music professionals. Privacy contact: [email protected].

2. What we collect

• Account data: email address, password credentials (handled by our authentication provider; we never see your password), date of birth (to verify you are 18 or older), and your acceptance records for our legal documents (which version, when).
• Profile data you choose: stage name, city and area, up to three roads with directional bearings (our S.I.D.E. system — see §4), skills, professions, and other attributes selected from our pick-lists; an optional photo; contact methods you choose to display. Fields you leave blank are not collected and do not surface you in the corresponding searches.
• Invite attribution: during our invited-access period, we record which invite code created your account, and use it only in aggregate to understand how people find us. It never appears on any profile and never affects any feature, ranking, or visibility.
• Safety and moderation data: reports filed about profiles (including a snapshot of the reported profile at report time), moderation decisions, and security signals such as human-verification results and rate-limit counters.
• Operational logs: standard technical logs from our infrastructure providers, and an internal record of which search filters are used — recorded without the identity of the person searching.

What we deliberately do not collect: we do not use device fingerprinting; we do not use advertising trackers or tracking pixels (including in email); we do not record your precise location — your approximate location exists only as the city, area, and road/direction selections you chose.

3. How we use data

To operate the Service (matching, display, ranking as described in the product); to secure it (verification, rate limiting, moderation); to communicate with you (account email, product/beta communications you consented to); and to understand the Service in aggregate.

Aggregated, de-identified statistics. We analyze and may commercially offer aggregated, de-identified statistics derived from Service data — for example, the mix of instruments in a metropolitan area or how search filters are used. These statistics never identify any person: they are built from data recorded without searcher identity (filter usage), from periodic aggregate snapshots (our KPI ledger), and — when our area-level valve is enabled — area-level search statistics. Small groups are suppressed so no statistic becomes a window into an identifiable person. This use exists from the Service's first day and is part of how we sustain a paid-membership-supported platform without advertising.

4. Your location is approximate by design

Our S.I.D.E. system stores only your chosen city, area, and up to three road-plus-direction selections. We do not create, store, or imply coordinates or addresses for any user, and the system is designed so that even at its most precise, your location is a broad overlap of generous bands — never a point.

5. Who can see what

• Other users and visitors: exactly what your published profile displays — your choices control this. Unpublished, private, and suspended profiles are not visible; profile pages are excluded from search-engine indexing and there is no public directory or listing of profiles.
• Authorized personnel: your account and profile data, reports, and moderation records can be accessed by authorized personnel operating under defined roles, for operating, securing, and moderating the Service. Access is role-limited, protected by multi-factor authentication, and logged.
• Service providers: infrastructure providers that host, deliver email for, and secure the Service (database/authentication, hosting, edge security, transactional email), each processing data only to provide their service.
• Legal: we disclose where the law requires, and we preserve evidence connected to threats or unlawful conduct.
• We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

6. Retention and deletion

You may delete your account in the Service (confirmation required; a 30-day recovery window applies, after which deletion proceeds). On deletion: your profile and account data are removed; reports and moderation records are retained as a documented safety exception; your invite-attribution record is de-identified (the code and date remain for aggregate statistics; the link to you is removed); acceptance records are retained as legal evidence. Backups: we keep periodic encrypted backups under our control (weekly database, monthly export bundle, rotated per our documented schedule); deleted data ages out of backups on that rotation.

Data export: you may request an export of your data.

7. Age

The Service is for adults 18+. We do not knowingly permit minors, we verify date of birth at registration across all sign-up methods, and we delete accounts found to belong to minors.

8. US-only

The Service is offered only in the United States and is blocked at the network edge outside it. We do not intentionally process data of persons outside the US.

9. Changes to this policy

Every material change is published as a new version with a plain-English summary, and you will be asked to explicitly accept it before continuing to use the Service. Your acceptance history is kept.
